Yes, we made a mistake. Oh well, what happened happened and the only way to fix it is to not do it again.
We talked about marriage last night. He asked me if I'd be willing to wait for him while he's on his mission. I told him I would be willing but explained why I won't promise. It would break my heart if I had to "Dear John" anyone. He made me promise that even if I have a boyfriend or something I won't get married until I've given him a chance after he gets back. Now that I can promise. I just hope it lasts that long. I think he's the only guy that has ever genuinely cared about me this much. :)
